The 3rd district is a popular part of Paris with the characteristics to get part of Republique place from where trade unions used to start their processions towards Bastille going along Filles du Calvaire and Beaumarchais Boulevards. Another very famous place being on the border of the 3rd district is Place des Vosges, formerly place Royale with its arcades under which you will be able to listen to musicians and choralists, have a drink or a meal. Pertaining to The Marais , Place des Vosges openings are pas de la mule street and two other porches giving on Birague or Bearn streets.
In the Turenne street, parallel to Beaumarchais boulevard, which is one of the main axis of the 3rd district you will find numerous fashion and ready to wear shops, since 50 years ago lied there all clothing factories and the careau du Temple closer to republique was the retail place for these cloths. On the same street, the Jewish Art Museum find a nest in a superb mansion clos to Saint Claude Church. Another famous museum of the 3rd district is Picasso museum.
